Winter 2008:

It's officially winter here, with our first real snowfall and our first school cancellation within the same week. We are looking forward to our upcoming trip to Florida!

Grandma Yvonne will join us down there for Christmas, but we get to stay for 3 full weeks. I am rather worried about the possibility of a complete meltdown and tantrum when we have to leave, but I think I'll be able to contain myself... you know, to set a good example for the kids. ;)

Even though this will only be our second trip there, the area really suits us. We are looking forward to awesome barbecue (hello! VITTLES BAR! heh heh), great sushi, even better seafood, warm weather, listening to the waves from our bedroom window, swimming, and did I mention SONIC HAPPY HOUR? I tried to make a cherry limeade like they do, but it just isn't the same!


I'm renting an awesome lens (24-70L) for the trip and I can't wait to get back so I can post photos. I am going to make the most of this trip to make up for the fact that I won't be getting many photos here for the rest of the winter.
